Baby bundles helping get families home

When Noreen went into early labor she was out of State visiting family. Already a long way from home, the gestation of her baby meant a trip even further from home and family - to King Edward Memorial Hospital.

At the end of a long stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Noreen and Denzil were very excited to take their baby boy, David, home.

KEMH social worker, Clare, handed over a bumper baby bundle so Noreen, Denzil and David could start life at home with everything they need.

Guided by the voices of Aboriginal mums, together with King Edward Memorial Hospital Aboriginal Liaison Officers, and funded by Telethon7 Perth, helping little hands is delivering a program that supports Aboriginal families.
